The Glass Sector Meeting, hosting the most prestigious gathering of the Turkish glass industry, was held in Istanbul on June 8, 2026, with a wide range of participants. At the event where industry representatives came together; the current state of the sector, its position in global markets, and the strategic roadmap for the future were discussed.
Vice Chairman Tansu Kumru, delivered the opening speech of the meeting and a comprehensive presentation on the foreign trade analysis of the sector. Stating that the Turkish glass industry is increasing its weight in global markets day by day, Kumru shared the new vision that will carry the country's production and export potential to the peak through cross-border achievements.
Seyit Ardıç, President of the Ankara Chamber of Industry and Board Member of our Association, along with representatives from public institutions, also attended the gathering, which attracted intense interest from industry stakeholders, and made significant contributions. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu shared his economic analyses through his presentation titled "2026 Forecasts for the Global and Turkish Economies and Their Impacts on the Glass Sector."
